Another local political operative, who also served as a contract employee of Western Region OTB and FOH (Friend of Henry) Aronow is yet another person working for Niagara County taxpayers who has a sordid history.

In 2008 Aronow was working as a political operative in the NYS Senate Majority Office in Western New York, when a sexual harassment complaint was filed against him by another employee. 

 

The female staffer alleged that Aronow subjected her to “a daily campaign of sexual harassment” from October 2007-January of 2008.

This included unwanted sexual comments, sexually oriented physical contact and pornography. She alleges that in one instance Aronow locked the door, got close to her and made suggestive comments, leaving her “terrified”.

In 2009, Aronow went to work for Senator Maziarz. Ultimately, the sexual harassment case was settled for $90,000 by the NYS Senate, and Aronow was fired from his job with the Senator at that time. But once again it’s the FOG factor to the rescue!

 

Despite the sexual harassment suit, Aronow was back in County government by 2020 as a Senior employment and training Coordinator who is paid $53,762 a year.
